Control

Set up in XSCACE Studio

DSP control, intelligent room correction and a full professional calibration suite. Every parameter on this 4-channel dsp power amplifier · class d — levels, delay, crossovers, limiter and EQ — opens in the same application that configures the rest of the range, so an installer learns one tool.

  • Live DSP Control

    Connect to any Xylem on the network and the full signal chain opens up: per-channel gain and delay, four crossover modes with live curve rendering, and six bands of parametric EQ per channel. Changes hit the DSP instantly over the local network — no round trips, no cloud. Discovery is zero-configuration: amplifiers announce themselves, so there is nothing to pair and no address to type. The delay block itself is accurate to 3 µs on a commanded 5.000 ms.

  • Arrival-Time Measurement That Survives Wireless

    Aligning speakers needs each one's arrival time at the listening position to sub-millisecond accuracy — sound moves about 34 cm per millisecond, so a 1 ms error puts a speaker a third of a metre from where it really is. A wired rig gets this from a loopback cable, where one clock drives playback and capture. Over a network there is no loopback and the receiver's clock is not yours, so XSCACE Studio rides a train of quiet pilot bursts throughout the entire measurement — including underneath the sweep — and reconstructs the receiver's real time map from them. Against REW, the reference tool in this field, it agreed to 0.01 ms.

  • Eleven-Instrument Calibration Toolkit

    Eleven instruments: X-Sense EQ, SPL Meter, Delay, Levels, Polarity, Frequency Response, Sub Align, Transfer Function, RT60, RTA and Mic Cal. One run yields distance, level, polarity and signal-to-noise for every channel. Every measurement can export the raw microphone capture as a 16-bit WAV, so any disputed result can be dissected offline against a reference implementation.

  • It Refuses Rather Than Guesses

    A measurement tool that returns a confident wrong number is worse than one that returns nothing. RT60 follows ISO 3382-1 practice — Lundeby truncation, a minimum 12 dB fit span, an r² ≥ 0.90 quality gate — and when a room will not support a defensible reading it says so and tells you which way to move: raise the level, or quieten the room. Every run also measures its own worst timing warp and warns above 0.5 ms, recommending a wired input for sub-millisecond work.
